When you notice a craving, sit with the craving don't try to suppress it that simply adds more energy to it, and then requires willpower (a precious resource) to refrain. One of my favorite things to do with a craving is to write down everything going on in my brain. Cravings are often from a feeling, what feeling/emotion are you seeking? Pleasure? Calmness (experiencing high stress)? Energy? Try to fill a whole page of paper with the thoughts you are experiencing at the moment you have the craving, also notice the thoughts/feelings you want to achieve from the food you are wanting. What is the underlying emotion really?


Now notice: What is the common feeling you are trying to run away from?

What is a feeling you are trying to create in your body? Through these actions? (comfort, relaxation?)

What thoughts are coming up about you having these thoughts feelings? What do you make yourself believe about yourself?




1/2 your body weight in ounces, plus one cup of water per hour of exercise is ideal for your body, you can also add 1 tsp of Celtic sea salt into your water for added minerals.


Often times being thirsty can trigger feelings of hunger.

If you are hungry, and it's not quite time for your next meal

First, reflect and ask what is going on in your mind, there are many instances where our body is seeking comfort from a feeling of boredom, overwhelm, or anger. Are you feeling any of those emotions? Or any other negative emotion that your body will want to compensate for with the dopamine response of food?


Once you have done the work, now drink some water. It is important to do the work, otherwise, we will not learn and understand why we are wanting to eat. During this Whole Body Reset, you will drink only water, herbal tea, black coffee, or black tea. All sweeteners are a big no-no (including artificial ones- even the "healthier" stevia and monk fruit). Sweeteners keep your sweet tooth strong, and make it much harder to be successful in the long haul). And, there’s no alcohol on this list. Think of this alcohol-free time as bliss for your liver.


How much water should you drink?

half of your body weight in ounces

plus a cup of water for every hour of exercise


this is especially important to be hydrated before your inbody assessment, and on the days that you do the body contour because it will help flush out that unwanted fat released from your cells!

What do you think about this? Circle thoughts that serve you, underline ones that don't serve you? What is the ultimate outcome that you want? What feeling do you feel when you have that outcome?
